We had a friend come over this morning. At first Porter was not excited. But after a few minutes, the two little boys were laughing and crashing their toys into each other.
My kids napped at the same time. I laid on the couch and watched 24. (Quick side note - where the heck was I over the last 8 years? Why wasn't I watching 24 with the rest of the world?! I wish Jack Bauer was my Dad.)
Two old coworkers came over after naps. I miss them. I miss a lot of the gals I worked with. They were hilarious. But, guess what? Totally don't miss working.
My kids make me so happy. Paige smiles every time I look at her. Her gurgles and coos are adorable and Porter could hold her attention for days. Porter can say so many words! He is definitely my child. Right when he wakes up, he says, "eat, eat" And throughout the day I hear that word a lot.
Oh and after a week and a half of not turning on my camera, putting the whole thing in a bowl of rice, opening up all of the compartments, pulling out the battery and memory card...it still doesn't work. But I found my old digital camera from college and the washed memory card still works. Silver lining.
I could not get into 24. Maybe I need to try again?? LOST is where its at right now. I feel like I'm NEVER going to get through all six seasons, and I'm constantly scared someone is going to ruin the ending for me, since you know, they all saw it like three years ago (or something).
ReplyDeleteYay for not losing any pictures from your memory card! But losing your camera is not fun. :(
Next time you guys come visit James's parents, let me know. We live seriously less than five minutes from them! Miss you.
Sorry about your camera! :( Porter and Paige are so adorable - maybe Porter could teach April to actually eat something! And I'm glad that you are enjoying 24 - I need to go back through and watch them again! Watching them now is way better than watching them on TV back when because you can watch the episodes back to back!
