addiction

I have this addiction

And I quite love that I have this addiction - because I REALLY enjoy it!

But sometimes I wish I was addicted to running or some kind of aerobic activtiy

I mean I try to run, I really do.  

 I just can't consistently get that runner's high which would probably keep me coming back for more, right?

My addiction...is reading

I love to read.  I do.  I really do.

I love libraries.  I love to walk up and down the aisles and look and all of the books!

I love reading all kinds of books.  Seriously. 

I've checked out biographies, children's stories, fantasies, historical fiction, love stories (clean love stories, that is)

Porter and I take walks to the library...probably 2 or 3 times a week

I just love books

Wings by Aprilynne Pike - freaking good, just finished it last night
The Overton Window by Glenn Beck
and I'm about to start the Princess Bride for the second time

Oh...and I finished the 7th Harry Potter last week

I'm addicting to reading

the weekend

Every Friday, when James gets home from school he is REALLY excited!

He usually yells something like, "It's the freaking weekend, baby!"

And this weekend was pretty awesome

(Ooo...no pictures, bummer!)

We watched General Conference (streamed live online - yes!)

It was opening weekend for duck hunting

Jame's best friend Ian came up and they enjoyed a good hunt

Crystal, Ian's wife and my good friend, drove up Saturday night after work

We ordered Domino's Pizza - the commercials are right, it does taste better!

And enjoyed more conference and delicious Sunday dinner together (with cheesecake!)

I love the weekends :)
