we were in st.george

I'm that girl who wishes she lived next door to her parents.  But the next best thing is having your parents live some place warm and exciting!  Every couple months I feel the need to pack up my babies and drive that awful long drive to St.George.  Warm weather, my mom's yummy cooking, my parents playing with my children - totally worth it.

This past week was even better because my one sister came with her kids for the whole week!  And another sister drove up for the weekend.  It rained the first part of the week, but we still had a good time.
we really missed james!  porter was so happy to see him today!
*thanks rachelle for the pictures. still no camera.

our dance parties

I like to dance, alot! I like to jump around and bust out my moves as if I'm the best dancer around. Therefore we dance at my house. This is our favorite song right now. Paige sits and laughs. Porter copies all my dance moves. And me...well like I said, I dance like I'm part of a dance crew.
(videos of our dance parties to come later...that camera isn't working. Suck.)

my wednesday

We had a friend come over this morning.  At first Porter was not excited.  But after a few minutes, the two little boys were laughing and crashing their toys into each other.

My kids napped at the same time.  I laid on the couch and watched 24.  (Quick side note - where the heck was I over the last 8 years?  Why wasn't I watching 24 with the rest of the world?!  I wish Jack Bauer was my Dad.)

Two old coworkers came over after naps.  I miss them.  I miss a lot of the gals I worked with.  They were hilarious.  But, guess what?  Totally don't miss working.

My kids make me so happy.  Paige smiles every time I look at her.  Her gurgles and coos are adorable and Porter could hold her attention for days. Porter can say so many words!  He is definitely my child.  Right when he wakes up, he says, "eat, eat" And throughout the day I hear that word a lot.

Oh and after a week and a half of not turning on my camera, putting the whole thing in a bowl of rice, opening up all of the compartments, pulling out the battery and memory card...it still doesn't work.  But I found my old digital camera from college and the washed memory card still works.  Silver lining.
