angry

Do you know what REALLY makes me angry?  Insurance companies, insurance agents, and oh my goodness...customer service lines.

They make me so angry.  I do everything I can to avoid a problem.  And yet, the problem still arises.

So then I have to spend hours on the phone with this company, and then this agent and oh - you need to call this customer service number and oh, I'm sorry - they didn't fax the right information to us, you better call that customer service number back and go through the ENTIRE process again.  Push one for this and push three for this and WHY DON'T THEY OFFER A CUSTOMER SERVICE REP RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING?!

I hate pleading my case.  I become so frustrated that I want to just start yelling anything at the customer service person I'm talking to - even though they had absolutely nothing to do with my problem...the problem I tried to avoid.

It makes me so angry!  Sometimes being an adult is really, really, hard.

today

Today, Porter is 8 months old.
He can CRAWL, pull himself up while holding onto the couch, say 'dadada' and 'mamama', he loves to eat real food - especially yogurt and bananas, he laughs at his toy basket and shadows, his car seat still tortures him, and I'm pretty sure he dislikes naps and will never sleep through the night (not complaining)

*Happy Birthday Lori!
*Congrats Laura on the engagement!

snack time

Porter is eating 3 meals of baby food a day.  Awesome!
So in between meals, we enjoy snacks together.
I usually eat the half chewed apples and oranges.
I once saw my aunt pick half eaten food off of her baby's mouth and eat it.  I think I was 13.   I was completely disgusted.  And now I do it.

hardware ranch

We went here on Saturday.
We took a sleigh ride out to the field to watch the elk eat.
It was pretty exciting. I have to be honest - I've never seen an elk.  They're huge!
My friend snapped a picture of us.  Hilarious huh?
Happy Sunday!

we were in idaho

I don't know about you,  but visiting my family is pretty much my favorite thing ever.
There's usually nothing special about our visits - we sit around talking, laughing so hard it hurts, eating more food than your body can handle, and playing my brother's newest game. (which this time consisted of the Xbox and Kinect - which by the way is AWESOME!

But I love it.

And I miss it when it's over.  And when I get home, I immediately begin looking forward to the next time we'll all be together (July, right?!)

We drove to Idaho for New Year's.  Me and Porter drove up early with my parents and brother - which of course was hilarious.  We get together and all of a sudden everything we say is the funniest thing on the planet and we can't stop...we just keep throwing out hilarious comments.

My sister and her family came too (I think I pressured them - ha!)  It was great.  We danced to music and like I said before - ate lots of food and played James's awesome new video game.  And we played at my grandma's house with all of my cousins.  They all thought Porter was the best.
