will you hold me to it?

So...I'm going to do something.  And I need you guys to be sure I stick to it.  Because I'm pretty sure I've set weight goals and running goals a thousand times.  But this time, I'm FREAKING serious and I don't want to fail.
 
I want to lose some weight.  I'm not going to tell you how much.  Heck, I'm not going to even post a before picture...maybe when I have an "after" picture to post right next to it.  :)  I also want to run a half marathon.  I've run a 10k.  I'm set to run a 15k in about 5 weeks.  The half marathon is in 8.
 
So this means I have 8 weeks to train and lose the magical weight loss number.  I've got it all set up.  A training schedule for 8 weeks.  A list of foods to eat.  A few work out videos to change up my exercise routine.  And then I need you.  If I call you and talk about making cookies, tell me NO!  If you call me...ask me about my schedule.  But don't be mean if I'm not doing so hot (I don't respond well to criticism).  Just kindly say, "Tiff, you wanted to lose weight...so DO IT!" :)
 
Will you hold me to my goals?  Please do...because I REALLY want to do it!
And maybe you could do it too?  Doesn't have to be running a half marathon in 8 weeks but some kind of life changing decision that could make you feel AMAZING?!  It could be fun :)

  1. I will and I'm in...I've got to start making progress on my own goals today!! Seriously. I've been using the site myfitnesspal.com to track calories and whatnot, it's been helping so much! We can be friends on it too!

  2. I'm in too, just don't know what I'll shoot for yet. Does this mean I have to call you every day? FINE. Ug, Tiff, you make me do the hardest things.

    (Just kidding. I love you and miss you and . . . when James is done with school are you moving down here again!?!?!?!?!)

  3. Yay!!! I'm so happy you two are both in...yes Kim you MUST call me everyday and tell me what you've eaten for the day ;) I'm starting June 3rd! I really need to check on myfitnesspal, Caley!

  4. Tiff! You can do it! are you serious, if you run a 15k, you can totally do the half. That was as much as i had run before the half. you can do it. It sucks, major! But you feel so freaking awesome after. Its like you need to wear your medal to Macey's just so people know that you ran a half marathon and you are THAT cool! Totally worth all those annoying mornings i woke up after having been awake all night, and not to mention all those desserts i told Brock we couldn't make Friday nights b/c i had to run 6 miles on Sat morning. I mean seriously....what is a friday night without sugar?! But once you start working hard, you will be surprised how your body wont crave it as much! You got this woman!
