My sister, who had babies 14 months apart, told me she doesn't remember the first year of her second daughter's life. Sadly, I completely agree. Two babies, 15 months apart, equals absolutely no sleep or time to regain your sanity.
However, I would NEVER take back the decision we made to have Paige so soon after Porter. She is an absolute joy in our lives. Something about having a little girl...it just tugs at your heartstrings.
We had a family birthday party for Paige on Monday night. And tonight we'll do a little something with just us.

Wow she already looks so much older than the last time I saw her! Congrats for her and you making it the first year! Sorry we didn't make it to the celebration! :(
ReplyDeleteI showed Shadrach that Paige just turned one. He said " She grew up and turned into a BUTTERFLY!" I said " Girls don't turn into butterflies... what do boys turn into?" Shad said " Into CATTERPILLARS!" I couldn't stop laughing. SO fun to see your little Paige growing up. I am hoping to see you all at the Esplin Reunion next summer. I heard it was such a blast this year.
