He found it

This morning, after lots of play time and two feedings, I laid Porter on our bed so I could tidy up the room.  Porter usually makes silly noises and turns his head all over so he can watch his mom move around.  I started folding laundry and Porter started sucking on his hands. He just discovered them a couple of weeks ago - adorable.  He just can't seem to get his whole fist in his mouth - which is what James and I are convinced he's trying to do.

After a few minutes, the cute baby noises stopped and I could hear a quiet sucking.  I glanced down at my beautiful baby and saw this...
He found it...

And do you think I care?  Nope, not one bit.  It is completely adorable!  And if he can suck his little thumb to sleep all by himself - I have no qualms with that at all!  We'll worry about breaking the habit later...

  1. i'm glad you are enjoying every little moment. having a kid is... well you know what I mean...it's it's the best thing ever! sorry about no updates on the blog. It actually is really frustrating because that's how I was going to keep in touch, you know. I guess I'll do a massive one when we get back. We are doing well. London is different, big, and a good experience. Church is awesome, we ride on the top of a double decker bus to get there! Way fun. Shadrach loves riding the "tube" (metro) He says choo choo whenever we head towards the station or whenever he wants us to ride the train. The best part is I'm with Joe again, nothing better then being with your little family. I love being a family.

  3. Tiffanie! I love your little family! It is so cute! I had a connecting flight in SLC last Thursday and I have another one tomorrow and as I sit in the airport, I can't help but think of the life you've created in Utah. It's so wonderful!

    Miss you!
